Lower section has been re-routed
Very nice re-routing of the lower section leaving the Williams Lake trailhead. No longer do you walk up the road. I measured a total of 4.5 mi. each way with a net elevation gain of 3,000 ft. (less than the published number).

As we share updates on the Santa Fe Trail, how do you think the current conditions reflect our collective impact on the environment? Are we doing enough to preserve these trails for future generations, or are we merely documenting the decline?
